Brief Bio

An academic leader and a scientist with extensive experience in teaching and research with expertise in modeling, analysis, and synthesis. A mechanical and aerospace engineer by training and an applied mathematician by practice with significant contributions to stability and control of dynamical systems theory and applications. Archival contributions include over 200 journal articles and peer-reviewed conference articles and five books. Current interests lie in machine learning applications to complex systems.
